What will you be doing?
Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of a wide range of legal documents—including complex commercial contracts, partnership agreements, internal policies, and regulatory documentation—ensuring alignment with applicable laws and business objectives.
Provide strategic legal advice on securities, payments, and broader financial services regulation across all operating markets, anticipating regulatory trends and advising on business impact.
Act as a trusted advisor to product, engineering, and business teams, delivering pragmatic, risk-based legal guidance on new products, features, and technological initiatives.
Lead market-entry and expansion initiatives, including regulatory analysis, structuring, entity setup, and management of licensing processes and regulator engagement.
Provide support on corporate governance and company secretarial matters, working closely with the Head of Legal to ensure compliance with statutory obligations and adherence to governance best practices.
Provide subject-matter expertise on data protection and privacy frameworks (e.g., NDPR, GDPR), and support the implementation and monitoring of compliance programs.
Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks across the business, developing practical solutions that enable innovation while safeguarding the company.
Establish and optimize legal processes, contract management systems, and knowledge-sharing frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability.
Manage relationships with external counsel, regulators, and other key stakeholders, ensuring effective coordination and value delivery.
Mentor and support junior legal team members, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Monitor and interpret legal and regulatory developments globally, providing proactive, actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
Communicate complex legal and regulatory issues clearly to senior leadership and non-legal teams, supporting informed decision-making.
